YouTube Music might not work for various reasons. Here are some possible solutions to fix YouTube Music issues on Chromebook. Let’s discuss them all.

1. Check Your Internet Connection

The first and most basic troubleshooting step is ensuring your Chromebook is connected to the internet. YouTube Music, like any streaming service, relies heavily on a stable internet connection.

However, if you have a working internet connection but are still facing the issue, you can try checking YouTube’s servers to see whether they are down or not.

2. Check YouTube Servers

Sometimes, it could be due to a YouTube server outage or technical difficulties affecting all YouTube Music users. If there is any server-related issue, then you cannot do anything but wait for the YouTube team to fix it.

To check the YouTube server status, follow these steps:

1. Open Chrome browser and visit the DownDetector website.

2. Here, search for YouTube, and the tool will display the current outage reports in your region.
