Installing Google Keep on Chromebook
Google Keep comes pre-installed on most Chromebooks, but if it’s not on yours, you can easily install it using one of the methods below.
If you already have the app and see an error like “The Keep Chrome App is no longer supported” when you try to open it, just know that Google stopped supporting the Google Keep Chrome app in February 2021. To fix the issue, all you need to do is reinstall Google Keep app.
1. Using the Google Play Store

Plus, it works like a standalone app that you can quickly access from the app launcher, and you can even pin it to your Chromebook shelf for easy access.
Here’s how to install Google Keep PWA using the Chrome browser:
1. Open Google Chrome.
2. In the address bar, type keep.google.com and press Enter.
3. In the address bar, you’ll see an option to install Google Keep as an app. Alternatively, click on the three-dot menu in the top-right corner, select Save and Share and choose Install Google Keep.
4. Click the Install button when prompted.
5. After installation, right-click on the Google Keep icon in your shelf and select Pin.
6. You can also open Google Keep by clicking on the App Launcher icon and selecting the installed app.
