If you’re using a Chromebook and wondering whether Microsoft Office 365 will work for you, the answer is yes, and it’s easier than you might think. Many Chromebook users depend on Office apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for work, school, or personal projects.

Thankfully, Microsoft offers Office 365 Online, which lets you access these applications right from your browser without installing anything. It’s a convenient option if you just need basic features and don’t want to install the full app.

However, if you want to install the Microsoft Office 365 application on your Chromebook, then this guide is for you. In this guide, we’ll show you how to install and use Office 365 on your Chromebook.

The latest version of ChromeOS supports the Microsoft Office 365 Progressive Web App (PWA). This version is optimized specifically for Chromebooks and provides a smooth, app-like experience.

With the PWA, you get features like seamless OneDrive integration, offline support, push notifications, the ability to pin the app to your shelf, and a clean, responsive interface. All in all, it’s the best way to use Office 365 on a Chromebook.

Once you’re updated and ready, follow these steps:

1. Click on the App Launcher icon, then find and open the Apps & Games app.

2. In the Apps & Games app, go to the search bar at the top and type Microsoft 365.

3. From the search results, locate Microsoft 365 and click on it.

4. Click on the Install from Web option.

5. This will open the installation window. Now, click the Install button and wait for the process to finish.
