Android app streaming lets you use apps installed on your Android phone directly on your Chromebook without the need to install them separately. This feature is part of Google’s ongoing efforts to create deeper integration between Android and Chrome OS, making multitasking across devices smoother and more efficient.

Follow these simple steps to connect your Android phone and start using Android app streaming on your Chromebook.

1. Open the Settings app on your Chromebook.

2. Navigate to the Connected Devices section. Here, you’ll find an option to connect your Android phone. Click the Set up button.

Run Android Phone Apps on a Chromebook

1. Open Settings.

2. In the settings, click on Connected Devices and select the Android Phone settings.

3. Turn on the Android app streaming feature on your Chromebook.

5. Here, explore the Phone Hub features. Through the Phone Hub, you can access your phone’s settings, hotspot, notifications, and location, as well as view a list of all apps installed on your phone.

7. Select the app you want to use from the Apps from your phone list.
